Introduction

Impact rollers are special conveyor rollers. The shock absorbing rollers, more often known as "impact rollers" consist of a base steel roller design, on which are fitted rings, designed to resist and absorb the pressures given by the impact of materials onto the belt. These rollers are positioned in the carrying section of the belt, corresponding to the point of loading where the material falls onto it.

Dimensions of Impact Roller

The construction of the impact rollers consists of a series of resilient rubber discs assembled onto an inner heavy-duty steel tube.

Dimension of Impact Roller

  1. Impact Roller Diameter Including Rubber Rings.
  2. Inside Bearing Diameter.
  3. Diameter at undercut. It may be equal to inside bearing diameter.
  4. Overall Shaft Length.
  5. Slotted Groove Distance.
  6. Steel Roll Shell Width (the shell thickness is available in 3mm, 4mm and 6mm).
  7. A/F = Slotted Shaft Thicknees.
  8. W = Slotted Width (open type or closed type).

Open Slotted: the slotted area will expand to the end of shaft.
Closed slotted: there is a certain distance between the sloted area and the end of of shaft.

Usage Form of Impact Rollers

Impact rollers are installed at the loading area of belt conveyor. The impact area will conist of several impact idlers or impact bed with impact rollers.

Advantages & Highlights

  • Long Working Service Life

Designed and manufactured for a long, trouble-free maintenance life.

  • High Quality Ball Bearings

Bearings are typically sealed or shielded to protect against contaminants and reduce maintenance requirements.

  • Various of Rings for Option

Conveyor impact rollers are typically made of normal rubber rings or conical rubber rings.

  • Different forms of Usage

Impact rollers are used in flat impact idlers and troughed impact idlers.

Application & Gallerys

Impact rollers are specifically designed to absorb the impact energy generated by the free-fall of materials onto the conveyor belt. Impact rollers are commonly used in industries such as mining, aggregate processing, construction, and ports, where heavy-duty conveyor systems handle large volumes of materials with high impact forces.
